Hey, I'm Kaitie. I'm pretty laid back most of the time, but I definitely know how to have a good time and let loose when the time's right. I feel that it's pointless to sweat the small things, so I don't waste time fretting over things that are out of my control. Drama free is the way to be! I have a crossword puzzle addiction. I really like bowling. Also, I can name and identify all the bones in the human body. I've recently rediscovered my love for photography. A pet peeve of mine is when people spell my name incorrectly after seeing it/being told how it's spelled more than once, I find it incredibly disrespectful. I like to laminate my flashcards. I'm terrible at writing these "about me" things; I'm multi-dimensional, and WHO I am as a person simply cannot be summed up in a few paragraphs.

Currently a full time student, i love life and am full of passion. I love to read anything and everything. I have strong goals and aspirations I love to learn and plan on being an eternal student. I love life and laughing and I really do not like filling in these things, so if you want to know more just message me.
I've been beaten down and broken so many times that i have no idea what it feel like to be whole. All i know is everytime someone knocks you down or hurts you, its time to simply pick up and move on.

I have no idea how the elephant icon ended up in 'My Personality Awards'. The elephant, extremely cute though it is, is supposed to represent the identification of "More Republican" traits in my answers to various questions.

OKCupid says that people who are 'more republican' tend to "favor economically permissive, socially restrictive politics" - I'll admit to being economically permissive in some areas the less your economic activity affects others the less regulated your economic activity should usually be, but I deeply doubt that my support of gay and lesbian rights, my pacifistic opposition to war, my advocacy of environmental justice, racial justice, and economic justice, fit their assumed meaning of 'socially restrictive politics'.

The OKCupid description goes on to say that people labeled 'More Republican' are often "more wealthy and more religious than the average user". They do note that "this is a relative measure, so being more republican just means you're more republican than people your age and gender in your area". Being wealthy, or even wealthier than most people my age and gender in my area would be really really nice, but as a graduate student looking for work...it is a description that does not fit me.

The other part of the description fits me even less. I am an atheist, and I am an atheist because I have no experience whatsoever of 'God', despite lots of reading and lots of time spent in the company of many kinds of religious people. Religion clearly means a lot to many people, but to me it is only another sort of social group â?? although one with some very strange stories to tell. Sort of a short-cut to a 'sense of wonder', not as durable as studying physics, biology, and language, but somewhat effective if you do not question the shibboleths.

I am a sophomore at Central Washington University. Although I go to school in the beautiful state of Washington, I consider Arizona home. I love all kinds of movies and I have seen over 250 of them... If music wasn't part of my life, I really don't think I could survive. I pretty much go to school full time so I tend to end up having no time for myself whatsoever. What little time I have for myself ends up getting consumed by working in the Political Science department on campus. I love it there and know that they enjoy my help. I love to spend time with my friends when we each get a free moment... They are just as big a part of my life as my family is.

Been to many countries and played just about any sport known to man. I love to travel and my significant othe should as well. I've been sledding on ice slides in the North Pole and swam with dolphins in Portugal. I'm willing to try anything and do it with intentions of having the best time of my life. I watch every sporting event I can on if not going to see it in real life from highschool all the way up to pros. Very care free and always trying to make the most fun of my time.

Does it really matter what I say? I mean, 99 percent of you will look at my photos and make a judgment right then and there. C'mon, you know I'm right.

I'm a pretty random girl, not the most planned out and organized. I love to wear my flip flops everyday even when it's bad wheather outside. I love to play in my Jeep and be outdoors whenever possible. I'm a tomboy at times, but in lots of ways I'm also girly. I love to hang out with friends and family. I can definately be a smart ass but am sweet and loyal to those that matter most.

I'm not a cook! I live a lot like a bachelor, live mostly from the microwave, but from time to time I can bake, I actually love to bake choc. chip cookies and keep some around for people droppin in. Least favorite thing to do though is grocery shop! I'll eat nothing for a week to avoid it, lol.

I'm also a major klutz, but laugh at myself everytime. God did not give me grace when it comes to movement and balance. Though I've been told my words are graceful when I actually think about what I'm saying. But catch me on a tired day then I tend to get foot in mouth disease, which at times is hilarious and other times... not so much. This is very much an inherited trait. I blame the Scot side of the family because they all seem to follow this trait.

I'm a sucker for animals and kids and they always seem to figure it out instantly. Damn them!

I have a huge sense of humor and laugh most things off. I definately have a serious side and enjoy deep conversations too. I'm super easy going and most of the time just roll with the punches.

I love to go to the beaches here in Washington a lot, one of my favorite places to go and think actually. I absolutely love to travel! Completely addicted, I would say a lot of my spare change goes to the traveling. Only area I haven't seen much of yet in the US is the East Coast, soon as i finish seeing over there I'll move to outside the US. My ultimate dream is to backpack in Europe for a month! Italy and Greece here I come!

I have incredibly high expectations of myself and others. Personally I think people spend way too little time believing in themselves, their abilities, and ideas. They focus too much on getting the right clothes, house, or whatever and don't take their own path seriously enough. If you are struggling and open about it that is one thing, but I do not have much tolerance for GQ, manpurses, and Inside Edition. I am a big believer in autonomy.

I'm kind of nerdy. I've always done well at academics, and have been known to do some video gaming. I also value the time out of home though, and surely am not afraid to put down the controller for a night at Jazz Alley or a concert.

I am very self sufficient, and fairly private. I appear to be laid back and easy going, until you really get to know me. I am stable and pretty much settled down and trying to live life to the fullest. I relish beautiful surroundings, and prefer them to be in order.

I'm a geology lover who spends a lot of time outdoors. I like to party and get money. I love horseback riding, i own a horse named Khatrina I have been riding horses since i was 10 years old. I have been all over the country riding and showing horses. When I am outdoors I like to go fishing, camping, hiking, and running.

I'm slightly tomboyish in the fact that I enjoy hiking, camping and being outdoors. I don't mind getting dirty. While I enjoy being active and outdoorsy, I am also content spending the day inside with a good book, movie or craft project.

I tend to randomly get dolled up for no reason other than that I felt like wearing high heels and makeup. I am equally comfortable in high heels and dresses as I am in ratty jeans and one of my brothers' t-shirts. I am self employed, been that way most of my working years,and I love the challenge, and success that goes with it.
Winter in Mexico, on the beach, is a way of life for me. I've been doing it for many seasons, and its an enjoyable way for me to "recharge my batteries"...
My 2 sons are on their ways in their work career and college education... So, i'm enjoying life, and want to find a gal to enjoy it with me, as well.

I think that I am a fun person who likes to have a good time and am always up to try something new. I can be a great friend, a shoulder to cry on, or the friend that knows how to be the bitch that can put you back on track when you need a swift kick to bring you back to reality.

I am a WVC student. I am artsy and technical. I am currently taking automotive tech courses... doing graphic design on the side. I also have done some DJ work. I have a sister and a brother. Yes, I do read and believe the Bible. I like winter sports. snowmobiling, skiing/snowboarding, sledding, random fun. I am open to new experiences.

I'm assuming you're here because you saw my picture and thought something along the lines "that has potential". And now you want to know more about me. Well I could tell you that I'm a wonderful person, but after you read that; while impressed, you'd have nothing to tell me other than: "Hi, you seem cool".

So instead I'm going to wax philosophical. Hopefully you'll disagree with me, or find a critical flaw in my theories, and wish to discuss it. thus giving us something to talk about and allowing us to get to know each other.

I like to hunt,fish,hike and camping. I also like to go to the movie alot.......I own alot of movies as well. I work hard and like to play hard as well. I do drink,but not to the point of falling-down-drunk. I have in the past, but not anymore.I want to meet more people,going to the bars alot of women think you just want to have sex!THIS IS TRUE AND FALSE AT THE SOME TIME ......Yes I am a gay,yes i do like sex(with women).But I want to know the persion that I am with.

I can be shy, I can be out-going. I'm really working on my life. Looking to better myself as a person. Thinking about school. And what I need to do to become the person, I would like to be. Not that I am a bad person, it's just I am not where I would like to be at this time in my life. I can be so much better. So I am a work-in-progress. I like to talk about almost anything. But I hate to argue with people. I hate to fight I still think I can hold my own but I really don't know, I've had no reason to have to hold my own. I would hate to hurt someone, I live my life with positive karma, it's amazing if you let go of hate and anger what can happen. It's all karma, what you put out is what you'll find. The most common shape in the universe is a circle, which everything moves in a circular pattern, so basically everything that goes a round, comes around. Live your life in peace and you shall find peace.

What I want is a friend, to best friend, to falling in love and then finally a lover, in that order.

what to say here...well i live by three rules... "you have one life to live, so live it, however you want, no regret." and by "always be yourself because the people that matter dont mind and the people that mind dont matter." and last but not least "treat others how you want to be treated."....Iam very random and not afraid to be me...you either love me for it or are annoyed by me lol but i think most ppl just think i march to my own beat. n yes i do!! I live to make people laugh, smile and enjoy life beacuse thats what i like to do...

I consider myself to be a simple person.Fancy things are nice to look at,but aren't for me.I have a 9-5,something to drive,and live alone in a small apt.I like to take pictures of anything and everything(my camera travels with me).I love to be outside.Fishing,camping,boating,hanging out with friends. These are just a few of the things i like to do.

I recently graduated from WWU as a business major / spanish minor. I've traveled a lot and studied abroad in England and Argentina. I love travel. I view life as one big mysterious adventure and I enjoy that. I'm very independent, but need good people around me that I can connect with, especially those that can operate on a deeper intimate level. In a nutshell I am a high energy, quality-driven, extreme sport loving, open minded, vegetarian dancer extraordinaire!

Lately I've made a habit of moving, which I guess is why I'm here. Sometimes it seems like I move somewhere new just after I finally have a good group of friends. For right now I'm in central Washington. I hail from Illinois.
I enjoy: Mountain Biking, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Snowboarding, Hiking, Camping. Don't let that list fool you though, I'm just as much a homebody. Around the house I like to play boardgames if there are people around, if not maybe enjoy the comfort of my bed and a good book.
I used to tell people that I was the nicest guy they'd ever meet. That isn't super true anymore, but don't tell my mother that.
I'm always teaching myself something new to cook, which is exciting to me. The biggest accomplishment would probably be chicken fried rice, or pulled BBQ pork sandwiches.

I'd like to find someone who is open minded, non-judgmental who has a sense of curiosity about the world and enjoys learning new things. I'm looking for someone, probably, between 38 and 60.

I'm looking for someone to have fun with (let's climb Mt Huashan together, I can't think of a more beautiful way to die) . I need someone who can carry on a decent conversation with me over dinner and not bore me to tears with prattle. I need intellectual stimulation. Maybe I need to start looking into sleeping with men.

I don't particularly fancy people who drink out of the Rush Limbaugh and Fox News toilets (unless they make me laugh), which seems to be most people living on this side of the Cascades: no wonder all the coughing.

Nor do I like teetotalers, prudes, the easily offended, those offended by the demon weed (tobacco in my case), the intolerant, the humorless, those who are incapable of accepting (what they perceive as) human imperfection.

Well, I'm 20 years old and I love my job as a poker dealer and I love smoking out. I'm very laid back and chill, it takes a lot to get me riled up, or pissed off, or whatever. I just go with the flow most of the time.
