The property is located in the county of Yakima just 1/2 mile south of the city of Tieton. 12 minutes drive to the city limits of Yakima and major retailers and 15-25 minutes drive to the national forest and recreation such as, hunting, camping, boating, snowmobiling, and the White Pass Ski Resort.

Update history:

1. In 1978, the entire inside was renovated. The old Lathe and Plaster walls were removed. The house was completely re-wired with new electrical system, which includes 4 separate electrical panels, and fireplace was put in.

2. In 1989, a new drain field and septic system was installed. The new industrial size septic system covers nearly acre.

C. As the new exterior was being installed, all new thermal modern vinyl windows were installed throughout.

D. The old fireplace wood stove insert was removed and a new Gas insert was put in its place to act as a heating source. The old Oil furnace was removed and new energy efficient “Cadet” electric zonal heating system was also installed throughout to supplement the new Gas heating system.

E. A 1500 sq. Ft. Pole Building shop was erected, complete with its own electric meter/200 amp service, electric forced-air heating system, fully insulated walls/ceiling and a rebar re-enforced concrete floor.

F. The driveway was paved, security gate and fencing was installed.

Bought the home 3 years ago for $173,500. We've put about $15-20K back into it (new roof, paint, carpet, landscaping, ect..) Current payoff is about $173K. We are willing to take a loss and pay the difference, due to a forced employment relocation. At the low price of $155,000 we ask that buyer pay all closing costs.

This was our "project home" and over the last year we have poured allot of time, sweat and money into renovated the inside and out. We got about 80% done and now it's time to hand off the remanding items to someone new.The home is just about 1,800 sq ft total. It sits on a 0.50 acre lot, across the street from Selah High School. Close to down town, yet far enough out. Our side of the street is considered Yakima County, while the other side is City of Selah. The property has it's own septic tank, but is hooked up to city water,3 actual bedrooms, with a 3/4 bath in the master bedroom and a full bath in the middle of the home. There is one large room and a smaller room that could easily be converted to other bedrooms. There just aren't any closets in them.Fresh paint in nearly all the rooms of the house.Large laundry room/Craft room with tons of counter space and cabinets for storage. All kitchen appliances stay with the home.Newer carpet throughout the house. The house has baseboard heat in the living room and bathrooms only. A/C is installed in the kitchen window and does a great job keeping the house cool on the HOT days! The roofing and outside paint is only 1 year old.About 80% of the yard is newly landscaped including a waterfall and small pond. Large outside sitting/BBQ area. Dark green healthy lawns that were freshly planted this year.Large garden area.Ample RV/extra parking room. There is even a RV dump line to the septic tank.Detached garage that includes an attached finished room that has been freshly painted and carpeted. Power and cable to that room also.Large fenced dog pen with large wooden house. Auto waterier.1973 remolded camper, lowered to the ground that was used for the kids clubhouse. If you are interested in setting up a time to come view the house, please call 509-985-9617.HOME SHOWN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!!
